What is a Concentration Limit?

OSLDS complies with HK regulations by setting limits for client exposure to virtual assets based on financial and personal circumstances.
Your OSLDS concentration limit is determined by a client’s risk appetite rating, existing virtual asset (VA) exposure and total net liquid assets
You will be informed of your concentration limit upon onboarding and it is also displayed on the client portfolio page.

How is my Concentration Limit consumed?

The usage of your limit, also displayed on your portfolio page, is calculated at 9am daily.
Your exposure to virtual assets is calculated based on the amount of virtual assets declared in your suitability assessment (as part of onboarding journey) plus net buy trades of virtual assets on the OSLDS platform minus virtual asset withdrawals from the OSLDS platform.
An automatic daily email will be sent to any client who comes close to or exceeds their limit.
Exceeding your concentration limit will result in a virtual asset "sell-only" trading profile, until your VA exposure is reduced or if your concentration limit is reassessed as a result of an update to your net liquid assets and/or suitability information.

How to reassess my Concentration Limit

Clients can refresh their net liquid assets and suitability assessment on the preference page at trade-hk.osl.com.
