What is eDDA?
eDDA (Electronic Direct Debit Authorization) is a value-added service introduced by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority for the FPS Express system, which can support the authorization to debit and deposit funds from your set bank account to your OSL trading account. Currently, it only supports HKD.


How to authorize eDDA
Please go to Assets page and click on Deposit to proceed to the next step.


Select HKD (eDDA only supports HKD)


Select eDDA


Select the bank name of the card you wish to use and enter the card number of your bank account. Fill in the type of document (e.g. Hong Kong Identity Card, Passport) and document number you provided when you opened the bank account to complete the authorization.



How to deposit using eDDA
After successfully authorizing deposits via eDDA, go to the Assets page and click on Deposit.


Select HKD


Select eDDA Deposit


Fill in the amount and the bank account you want to use to make the deposit






What banks does eDDA support?

As of this writing, OSL's eDDA integration currently supports Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited, China Merchants Wing Lung Bank Limited, JPMorgan Chase Bank, The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited, CITIC Bank (International) Limited, Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, Bank of Communications (Hong Kong) Limited, etc., you may also check the list of countries or consult customer service during the authorization stage to get more information.
